Being Discipled
Discipleship is a very intentional spiritual relationship. As a Disciple, you are committed to seeking out someone who is at least one step ahead of you spiritually and saying, “I want to grow.” Someone to help you grow in your relationship with God by digging into the Bible and faithfully applying God's truth to every area of life, no matter what.
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have
commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
Where do I begin?
1. Pray-Ask God to show you someone already in your life—or to bring someone new—who can guide and support you to grow spiritually
2. Make the intentional ask-Would you be interested in digging into the Bible together, applying it to our lives, and trusting that the Holy Spirit would guide our time?
3. Start-Pick a time and a place to start meeting!
